Discontinued - Chemtools 8565 Metal Pipe Thread Sealant is a controlled strength, high performance anaerobic thread sealant designed for the locking and sealing of metal threaded pipes and fittings.
NSF Certified: Certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 61 for use in commercial and residential potable water systems not exceeding 82°C.
Pressure Resistance: Chemtools 8565 was successfully tested for pressure resistance and seal to 3,000 psi. 3/8 inch NPT steel pipe tees and plugs were assembled and pre-torqued to 27 N.m and allowed to cure for 24 hours prior to testing at 3000 psi hydraulic pressure according to ASTM D 1599
