Desoutter CP0351ESKEL Alligator Jaw Compression Riveters
These aerospace quality squeezers are well suited to applications that involve reaching rivets set back from the edge of the work piece. Desoutter CP0351ESKEL Alligator squeezers offer a maximum 5" reach and up to 6,800 lbs. of squeezing force. Air Powered Compression Riveters deliver a squeezing action that drives the rivet by "flowing" the rivet metal with compressed forces. The Desoutter T012603 Riveters sqeezing action multiplies the original force to extreme ratios by coupling an air cylinder and piston to a wedge or cam. To obtain high compressive forces apply a relatively compact unit having small diameter cylinders and using very little compressed air. The benefit of squeeze riveting is simple sounds of air exhaust and a forward piston movement that develops tremendous pressures being exerted at the work point.
