Hakko FX-888D is the updated, digital version of the popular FX-888 and includes several new features-digital calibrations to simplify the setup and operation, new password protection, 5 preset temperature storage, and compact design takes up less workbench space.

The HAKKO FX888D Digital Soldering Stations heater output has been increased by 30% compared to that of the conventional HAKKO 936 and 937 models . Also the HAKKO FX888D delivers excellent thermal recovery by using T18 series soldering tips for their terrific heat conductivity. This allows soldering at a lower temperature and reducing the thermal impact on components as well as tip oxidation that can shorten tip life.
