Shipping Policy

1. Transport - Australia

Freight charges apply to all orders with the exception of local pickups and the partial shipment of back-ordered items.  Freight cost and risk of loss in transit is the responsibility of the Buyer.  A standard freight charge of $25 AUD will be added to the invoice for all national purchases.  Dangerous goods freight will incur an additional cost.  Each charge will be worked out accordingly based on the request at the time. 

The selection of the freight agent to handle the transportation and delivery of goods shall be at Henchman's sole discretion.  Please note that we do not use Australia Post for shipping.  All shipments will be handled by either Fedex/TNT, Go Logistics or Border Express as determined by us.

If preferred, the Buyer has the right to use their own freight account.  In such cases, the Buyer must provide the relevant freight account details and any other necessary information to facilitate the shipping process.  Delays in shipment due to missing information are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.

We do not ship to PO Box addresses.  Henchman requires the Buyer to provide a valid physical address for all shipments.

2. Transport - International

Freight cost and risk of loss in transit is the responsibility of the Buyer.  Freight will be made using the Buyers freight account where specified.  In such cases, the Buyer must provide the relevant freight account details and any other necessary information to facilitate the shipping process.  Delays in shipment due to missing information are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.

Where no freight account is specified, shipment will be quoted per order by Henchman and handled by either Fedex/TNT or DHL as determined by us.

3. Title & Risk

Title to and property in the goods shall only pass to Buyer following Henchman's receipt of all monies payable by Buyer hereunder.  Risk of loss in transit where goods are despatched using the buyers freight agent is the responsibility of Buyer. 

4. Delivery Time

All quoted delivery or consignment dates are estimates only, given without engagement.  Delay in consignment of any part of an order shall not relieve Buyer of its obligation to accept and pay for the remainder of the order.  Goods offered ex-stock by Henchman are subject to prior sale.  In the event of any happening beyond Henchman's reasonable control in consequence of which Henchman cannot effect consignment by the time or times quoted or specified, Henchman shall be entitled to consign part only of an order, suspend consignment or extend the time for consignment, for the period during which such cause of delay operates, or may cancel the order, and in the event of such suspension, extension or cancellation, Henchman shall not be liable for damages.
